wow! I mean...just WOW!! How do you come up with the designs? Do you look at reference photos for ideas or is this all your own imagination?

Thank you! =) In fact, I'm getting my inspirations from many classic Northern Rennaissance artists, and photos as well. A mirror would be cooler, but you may imagine a feline behaviour =)

This is gorgeous. I love the deliberate "unfinished" look to the background. It creates this lovely resonance that makes us see you and your cat as three dimensional figures emerging from the surface of the painting.

Fantastic job! It's so delicate and graceful... Pretty much opposite the way I paint :) I wish it was bigger so I could study it up close. You must have incredible patience to work in that medium so successfully.

Thank you so much! =)

No, I don't have time to prepare my own tempera, so it's a PVA type, when the kiddo is in college, I'll try th egg type =)

You have the skills and feel of the old masters, but your painting is not a copy of their ways, it is original and modern. I'm trully impressed!

Plain lovely. Especially the dress and the detailed tapestry are nice eyecatchers. I also envy how good you are at realism!

Thank you so much! This work, in fact, is a dedication to some of my favorite artists, namely Holbein, Dürer and Cranach. =)

I don't really understand how you can do this with tempera, but it's awesome!

Well, it was a reluctantly acquired skill, as I had no possibility to use oils and thinners during my pregnancy. Tempera is a f***ng complicated substance to work with, but when the one has to make choices... =) Most of all - thank you for your kind feedback <3 =)
