I love the sorrow and empathy you manage to convey in this image. It's a really nice way to capture the original character as Tolkien 'paints' him, especially as the cosmology develops over time. If you're willing, I'd really like to include this image in an upcoming academic conference (with proper citation, of course). Either way, thank you for creating such a lovely piece.
