Impressive. The contrast between the tiny illuminated details on the headdress, the crease of the dress and the plainess of her face, the background is striking. So beautiful. And the design of the costume is smashing!
You are so incredibly talented! One can see, looking at your art, how much you love Tolkien's world. I'd love to buy Silmarillion with your illustrations one day. Hope a lot new drawing are coming soon Thank you for sharing them
Itīs... uuuh... well, simply perfect. I canīt say what part of it I like most, her expression, the colors or whatever, because everything in this picture is just perfect. As are most of your other pictures as well. You manage to capture every situation/character so well, plus most of "your" characters look just like they do in my head.
Honestly, this is AMAZING. No words. Yours are the most believable Ainur I've ever seen. This one looks even more awesome than the one depicting Melian, and that's saying a lot. Apart from the amazing colours, beautiful meadow, wonderful mountain, incredible crown etc.etc., I think the most notable thing of the whole painting is her expression: it really points out her nature of " God's stewardess ", while often drawings portraying the Valar show them as Gods themselves.
Ok, now back to my silent admiration. Keep going!
P.s.= can I link this one to the Tolkien Society group on facebook?
